Abdul Aziz is acting director of Horticultural Research Institute, ARRI, Faisalabad. He was appointed as Assistant Research Officer during 1987 at Horticultural Research Station, Nowshera (SoanVelly) distt. Khushab. Up till now he has worked at Horticultural Research Station, Nowshera (SoanVelly) distt. Khushab, Citrus Research Institute, Sargodha and Hill Fruit Research Station, Murree. During his 31 years of service his salient achievements are as; Got approved 3 citrus varieties as breeder (2013) i.e., Pak kinnow, S.J Feuter’s Early and CRI Salistiana. Got approved 5 citrus varieties as co breeder (2018) i.e., Rough Lemon, Blood Red, Shamber, Trocco and Succari. Characterized 2 citrus varieties for DUS test in 2018-19 i.e., Sweet Lime and Kaghzi Lime. Supervise two projects as incharge; Development of code of practices for Kinnow (under TRTA-II UNIDO) and Diversification of high value cropping through promotion of horticulture. He wrote, compiled and edited the manuals; Turshawabaghatka manual (urdu, 100 pages), Code of practices manual for kinnow (English & Urdu, 100 pages), CCP manual for Kinnow (English & Urdu, 24 pages), Prepared nursery manual۔
