Dr. Muhammad Abrar did M.Sc. (Hons.) Agri. Food Technology from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in 2003. He got indigenous Scholarship of HEC for Ph.D in 2009. He also got IRSIP (International Research Support Initiative Program) fellowship during Ph.D and visited Department of Grain Sciences and Industry, Kansas State University Manhattan Kansas, USA. Then he was selected as Food Technologist in 2010 and worked as Durum Wheat Technologist in Cereal Lab., Wheat Research Institute, AARI, Faisalabad.Then he joined as Director, Post Harvest Research Centre, AARI, Faisalabad in 2017. He has published more than 20 research papers in well reputed Journals. He worked on the shelf life extension of valuable crops, development and standardization of new value added fruit & vegetable products.Now he is again performing as Chief Scientist Post Harvest Research Centre.
