Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar visited the stalls set up by Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI), Faisalabad along with Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi. Chief Scientist Agri. (Research), Dr. Muhammad Akhter briefed about the new crop varieties developed by AARI Scientists. AARI is the largest and leading Research Institutes of the country by developing more than 705 Crop varieties. This research institute was the beacon to the green revolution in the country in late sixties and since then consistently is playing a key role in meeting the post green revolution productivity challenges and ensuring national food security.
