Chinease Scientist visited Wheat Research Institute, AARI, Faisalabad for future active collobrations on germplasm & technology exchange between two brother countries. Chinese delegation visited both wheat farms and labs. They appreciated the working of wheat scientists. At field they compared their short heighted varieties with tall varieties of Pakistan and suggested to go towards molecular side for better wheat varieties. They told that they wanted to collaborate with wheat institute for developing dwarf, salt, insect and disease tolerant, high yielding wheat and climate resilient varieties of wheat. They talked about global food security as well.
