Entomological Research Sub-Station pasrur is pioneer and only research station in Pakistan working on lac culture which is one of the most valuable gifts of nature to mankind. Lac is only resin of animal origin. This station is working on identification. Preservation and exploration of endangered lac strain from ecological zone of Pakistan. Moreover, provide a check on environment al degradation and help to rebuild the ecological balance, but also conserve endangered lac insect associated fauna and flora for posterity of biodiversity conservation.
