• Optimization of genetic transformation protocols for model systems line Tobacco and establishment of efficient plant regeneration and genetic transformation procedures for economic crops like Brassica, Sugarcane, Tomato etc.
• Synthesis of EPSPS (GT) and BT genes after codon optimization and cloning of these genes along with FAEI and other potentially useful genes for their transformation
• Development and characterization of transgenic plants for EPSPS (GT), BT, FAEI and other potentially useful genes in major crop like Brassica, Sugarcane, Tomato etc.
• Optimization of protocol for transfer of EPSPS (GT) and other useful genes in Cotton through pollen tube pathway
