Dr. Sarfraz Hussain, Agricultural Chemist, Pesticide Quality Control Laboratory, Faisalabad was given additional charge of the post Director, Soil Salinity Research Institute, Pindi Bhattian on 11.04.2019. He is working to meet the objectives of the institute i.e. Reclamation of salt affected soils, production technology of crops, fertilizer use and screening of crop varieties in salt affected soil and management of brackish tube well water for crop production. He is also interested in field experiments and general crop production at the research farm. He also regulate technical, administrative and financial matters of the institute.
