- Production and provision of pre-basic seed of approved oilseed varieties.
- Advisory services through audio-visual means as well as through print and social media.
- Technology transfer to the farmers through farmers’ days and exhibitions
- Supervision and technical guidance to internees of graduation, M.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. students of various Agriculture Universities.
- Training the Agriculture (Extension) agents regarding oilseed crops
