Pesticide Quality Control Lab. Faisalabad

Pesticide use in Pakistan has been enormously increased in the last couple of decade. The quality control of pesticide therefore carries paramount importance. Previously, provision of pesticide was responsibility of the Government but with the transfer of pesticide business from public to private sector, necessity to regulate the business was realized. The Government thus promulgated Agriculture Pesticide Ordinance in 1971 and Established Pesticide Testing Lab. Faisalabad during 1971 to provide the analytical services under this ordinance.
