World Cotton Day was celebrated on 07-10-2019 at Cotton Research Station, Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, Faisalabad. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qureshi , Director Agri. Biotechnology Research Institute, Faisalabad chaired the seminar. Dr. Sajid ur Rehman, Director Research, DR. Ghulam Sarwar, Cotton Botanist, Dr. M. Shahid Munir Chohan, Dr. Muhammad Asif and other Agri. Research Scientists participated and strongly committed with zeal and zest that new climate resilient cotton varieties will be introduced very soon to boost up the cotton productivity in the country.
