Chief Scientist Agri. Research Muhammad Nawaz Khan Maken, Vice Chancellor MNSUA Rao Asif Ali Khan and Honourable President of AJK Sultan Mahmood Chudhary inaugurating the Mango Festival on 23-07-2022 at Centaurus Mall, Islamabad. The president AJK said that it was heartening to see that more than a hundred varieties of mango have been displayed at the exhibition. “Pakistan is the world’s number one exporter of mangoes”, he said adding that mango production in Pakistan stands at 17 lakh tonnes whereas the country earns nearly 145 million dollars in foreign exchange on mango export amounting to 142 metric tonnes.
