Dr. Ehsan-ul-Haq, Director, Institute of Soil Chemistry & Environmental Sciences, Kala Shah Kaku has completed his M.Phill (Soil Sciences) Degree from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in 1984. Later on he completed his Doctorate in the same field during 2003. He joined Agriculture Department Punjab (Research) as Agriculture Officer (Field) in the year 1985. He worked as Agriculture Officer (Field) on different aspects in plant nutrition and Soil Health. During the period he also worked on soil reclamation and advisory services to the farmers, later on he also worked in Soil and Water Testing Laboratories, Hafizabad, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi till 2010. Then he was promoted as Agriculture Chemist and worked in Soil Conservation Research Center, Sohawa and Soil & Water Testing Laboratory, Rawalpindi for regulatory work in the field of Fertilizer and advisory services to the farmers. He was promoted as Director in 2015 and worked in Soil Salinity Research Institute, Pindi Bhatiyan for the period of two years. Later on he was entrusted the responsibility of Directorate of Soil Chemistry & Environmental Sciences in 2017. In this Institute he is supervising the Pesticide Quality Control in Punjab including Applied Research in the field of Soil, Environment and Climate Change successfully.
