Overview
These laboratories are following international test methods, have qualified personnel, requisite infrastructure and modern equipment, which are prerequisite to generate consistent, reliable and internationally acceptable results. Moreover, accreditation of 4 new Laboratories is in progress.
Objectives
The ultimate aim of the project is to perk up the working and services liberation of fibre testing laboratory, biotechnology laboratory, rice technology laboratory, cereal technology laboratory, soil and water testing laboratories and pesticide quality control laboratories. All 21 Laboratories have successfully achieved ISO 17025 accreditation, which demonstrates that Laboratories have qualified staff, precise equipment, adequate quality assurance, accurate recording, reporting and controlled lab environment.
Outcomes
All the ISO accredited laboratories are providing advisory and research services to the farmers and other stake holders.
Providing analytical services at par with international standards.
